The Inconceivable Chao Du of the Dharma Body: Saving Beings Above and Below the Earth
Beings of Space
Naturally So
As we gather for the , we must contemplate the profound reality of our existence. Beings throughout the infinite realms are trapped in a cycle of suffering that seems to have no end. Yet, we must also recognise that the work of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and true spiritual friends to save these beings is equally without end.
This mission of salvation is a continuous, eternal flow of compassion. It does not pause, nor does it falter, regardless of the challenges faced. It is a commitment that transcends the limitations of our ordinary perception.
You may wonder how one can face such immense suffering without fear or hesitation. Whether it is , myself, or Practitioner Su, we move forward with a spirit that is entirely fearless. This is not a display of personal courage, but rather the natural manifestation of no-self. When one has truly let go of the ego, the following obstacles vanish:
Because there is no longer a 'self' to protect or serve, there is no room for the worries and obstacles that typically plague the mind. One simply acts for the sake of all beings, without a single thought for one's own comfort or gain.
Namo Amituofo, in the identity of the Universal Buddha who pervades the entire -realm and empty space, demonstrates that the Dharma affinity is truly limitless. Wherever there are beings, there is the potential for Namo Amituofo to lead them to the of Ultimate Bliss. This reach is not confined by distance or location; it is as vast as the universe itself.
Practitioner Su, having cultivated a vow identical to that of the Buddha, carries out this work with the same unwavering dedication. Whether through the , the Twelve Lights Chao Du, or through the physical presence of the practitioner, the work of salvation continues. This includes:
Wherever there are beings, that is where Namo Amituofo is guiding and Practitioner Su is performing Chao Du. Beings are present throughout the entire Dharma realm of emptiness; they are everywhere, and they exist at all times, including the past, present, and future. The current situation at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is a testament to this reality.
With Namo Amituofo residing here, and under the guidance of myself and Practitioner Su, the centre serves as a beacon for the entire universe. We are reaching out to the vastness of the Dharma realm, the galaxies of the universe, the six realms of existence, and the four holy realms. This is where our work is focused, and this is where we continue to lead and save beings. The mission to save the world and rescue all beings is truly without end.
