The Decline of Worldly Morality and the Path to Purity

In this present age, we observe that the moral climate of the world is in a state of rapid decline. The hearts of people are shifting, and the values that once anchored society are being lost to the currents of time. Selfishness has become the new norm, and we see individuals prioritising their own desires above all else, often at the expense of others. This pervasive pollution has touched everyone, leaving few untouched by the stains of greed and ego. We are all caught in the relentless cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death. In the midst of this struggle, we have forgotten the true purpose of our existence: to serve others with a selfless heart.

The Sanctuary of the Pure Land

However, there is a clear stream of purity available to us: the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Within this state of absolute purity, one can finally perceive the true, eternal nature of reality. To reveal your true self, you must remain pure and untainted by the world. You must cultivate a great, selfless power to engage with the world without being consumed by it. This path requires a fundamental shift in how we interact with our surroundings:

• Distance yourself from the corrupting winds of this world.
• Turn away from wrong paths and return to the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
• Rediscover a sense of freedom and cool, refreshing clarity.

Turning from Delusion to Awakening

Do not cling to the impermanence of this world. If you remain lost in delusion, you will only be stained by the same pollution that affects everyone else. It is a tragedy to be a pure lotus flower growing in a muddy pond, only to be choked by the filth. You must act quickly. Leave these polluted winds behind immediately and focus your mind entirely on chanting Namo Amituofo.

By returning to this state of purity, you can save yourself and all those with whom you share a karmic affinity. Ultimately, you will attain the state of an awakened being and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
