speaks to us today, reminding us of the profound suffering that permeates the lives of all beings. We are like wanderers who have lost our way, drifting through the vast and turbulent ocean of the six realms of existence. Day after day, time slips through our fingers, and life after life, we are caught in the relentless cycle of rebirth. We dwell within the Five Turbidities and Evil World, our minds clouded by ignorance. We take the illusory as real, failing to recognise the deep suffering that surrounds us. Because we are trapped in this cycle, we do not know how to leave it, and we remain deeply mired in the evil realms, finding it nearly impossible to escape.
Yet, even in the midst of this profound confusion, a bright light has emerged. Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre and Practitioner Su stand as a beacon for all who are lost. By leading the assembly to save beings without fear, they demonstrate the power of the laws of and cause and effect. To encounter such a path is a rare blessing, indicating that one has cultivated great merit in past lives. It is only through such deep-rooted virtue that one can diligently practise and protect the great . Without this foundation, it would be difficult indeed to encounter the Buddha's teachings in this lifetime.
To the fourfold assembly of disciples gathered here, Namo Amituofo offers this guidance: you must learn to let go of your ego and your personal attachments. Do not let your time in this life be spent in vain; instead, dedicate yourself to the propagation and protection of the Pure Land. There is much work to be done, particularly in the purification of the monastics. To achieve this, you must engage in the following practices:
Even if you encounter obstacles from the demon path, do not be discouraged. Use the power of repenting for your past actions to break through these barriers. As you continue to purify your heart and mind, you will move steadily toward becoming an awakened being. When you have achieved this, you will be able to save infinite suffering beings without fear, moving forward on the path to Buddhahood with unwavering resolve. Namo Amituofo.
