Only by clearly recognising the true nature of reality can one truly awaken from the slumber of ignorance. On a theoretical level, we may understand what the truth is, yet putting this understanding into practice remains a formidable challenge. Why is it that we struggle so deeply? It is because we have not yet truly recognised the facts of our existence. We are still caught in the grip of our own delusions, and for many, the weight of their suffering is not yet heavy enough to compel a genuine change of heart.
When we are unable to take charge of our own lives, we are inevitably pulled along by the currents of our past . We find ourselves trapped in the cycle of being reincarnated, living a life dictated by the momentum of our previous actions. This is the reality of the world we inhabit—a life of drifting, where we are tossed about by forces we do not yet understand.
If one can truly experience a moment of profound, heart-wrenching realisation, it can serve as a powerful catalyst for change. Such a moment of deep sincerity can help to dissolve a portion of one's spiritual obstacles. Perhaps it is only through this kind of deep, transformative pain that one can finally see the truth clearly and become willing to wake up.
We must ask ourselves: what is the purpose of this fleeting, illusory world? We have been blessed with a precious human body, and this gift is not meant for us to simply endure suffering or to be consumed by it. Rather, this human life is a rare and invaluable opportunity for us to engage in active and persistent practice, to purify our hearts, and to rediscover our true self.
It is often only after we have suffered greatly that we are finally willing to lift our heads and look beyond our immediate pain. In that moment of clarity, we see the truth: Namo Amituofo is still standing right there, exactly where He has always been, patiently waiting for His children to turn back toward Him. The heart of Namo Amituofo, filled with infinite compassion for His children, remains forever unchanged.
You must recognise this truth of reality and truly let go of your attachments. When you do, you will find the strength to focus your entire heart and mind on chanting Namo Amituofo. By doing so, you will gradually rediscover your true self and gain the ability to save yourself and all other beings, guiding them back to the of Ultimate Bliss.
