Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:
Receiving the grace of the Buddha, because when Namo Amituofo was the Bhikshu Dharmakara, He saw the suffering of beings,
deeply understanding that only by attaining Buddhahood and becoming a Buddha completely could He resolve the suffering of beings!
Under the and teachings of His teacher, Lokesvararaja Buddha,
He made the Forty-eight Great Vows to save all boundless suffering sentient beings.
After five kalpas of diligent practice,
and upon the completion of His Great Vows, He established the of Ultimate Bliss,
only then could the fourfold assembly and other beings enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, leave suffering and gain happiness,
and have the opportunity to diligently seek the , realise their true nature, and attain Buddhahood.
Receiving the grace of the Buddha, the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss was established as a Buddha-land for attaining Buddhahood;
otherwise, the immeasurable and boundless suffering beings in the ten directions would have nowhere to dwell,
with no heart to rely upon and no support.
Today, even while beings are suffering,
because there is the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss as a destination, and because of the guidance of the Buddha's Forty-eight Great Vows,
immeasurable and boundless beings are thus saved.
According to the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Sutra) and the Forty-eight Great Vows,
practise according to the Dharma, and "arouse the Bodhi mind and single-mindedly recite Namo Amituofo",
one can receive the Buddha's blessings, allowing one's practice to be diligent and successful,
achieving the and wisdom,
and at the time of death, recite the Buddha's name with a sincere heart, without a confused mind, and be guided to rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Today, Namo Amituofo abides at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia,
which is the perfect time to guide sentient beings with karmic affinity to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss,
and to help the fourfold assembly in their diligent practice to realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood sooner.
This supreme grace, how can we repay it?
If the fourfold assembly can follow the Buddha to save all boundless suffering sentient beings and spread the Pure Land teachings throughout the ten directions,
that is how to repay the vast grace of the Buddha!
