To have a moment of awakening refers to the state where, following a period of purification, one suddenly finds clarity in matters that were previously misunderstood. It is the sudden illumination of the heart where confusion is replaced by profound understanding.
Awakening is the primary indicator of progress in your practice of the Buddha . It can be observed within the , where areas that were once blocked or obscured suddenly clear, becoming smooth, bright, and luminous. This is the process of moving from small, continuous insights toward great awakening, and eventually, into the state of total, unobstructed wisdom.
Throughout your many lives, your Alaya consciousness has accumulated various blockages and obscurations. When you experience a moment of awakening, it acts as a powerful and rapid force.
