However, we must ask ourselves: are these karmic creditors and attached spirits truly willing to leave? Their departure depends entirely upon the heart and conduct of the fourfold assembly of disciples. It is through your genuine sincerity in resolving the conflict and your willingness to change your ways that these beings feel the compassion required to let go of their past resentments. Your conduct serves as a beacon for these beings. When you embody the virtues of the Dharma, you create an environment where healing can occur. It is not merely about the ritual itself, but about the transformation of your own heart. We must remain vigilant, for if the "self," personal ego, and selfishness manifest once again, the karmic creditors and attached spirits will also reappear. If they return, when will this cycle ever end? The answer lies once more in the heart and conduct of the fourfold assembly. This matter is a direct reflection of cause and effect. If you wish to stop the cycle, you must possess the wisdom to resolve the conflict with these beings. By cutting off the causes, the results will no longer manifest. You must look inward and address the root of your own attachments, for it is your own mind that dictates the presence of these spirits.
The cycle of karma is persistent, but it is not unbreakable. Through the constant application of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, you can dissolve the knots of the past. Every moment is an opportunity to choose differently, to act with greater compassion, and to release the burdens that keep you and these beings tethered to the cycle of suffering. Let your practice be a constant reminder of your commitment to liberation.
