If Not for Hsiang Kuang: A Path to Liberation

Fourfold assembly of disciples, if not for the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, where would you be today? How would your life look?

The Fragility of Worldly Existence

If you were not here, you might be facing the harsh realities of the world:

• Some might have already departed this world, their spirits wandering in uncertainty, not knowing where they belong.
• Others might be lying in hospital beds, frail and unable to recover from illness.
• Many might be waiting at home for family members to return, trapped in the endless cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death.
• Some might be rushing to work, chasing a monthly salary, and preoccupied with the trivialities of social obligations, weddings, and funerals.

These scenes are everywhere in the human world. Regardless of the specific situation, all these paths lead to the cycle of rebirth.

The Sanctuary of Hsiang Kuang

However, you are now practising at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. Even for those who are elderly or ill, there is a clear hope for rebirth in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

With Practitioner Su present, the spirits of the students of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre will not be allowed to fall into the cycle of rebirth and suffer. We continuously invite spirits to resolve their grievances and perform Chao Du. The karmic creditors are not only bathed in the Buddha’s light, but they are also given the opportunity to be saved and reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss or in the heavenly realms.

The Path of Diligent Practice

You, the fourfold assembly of disciples, do not need to worry about food or clothing. You do not need to rush to work or bow your heads to the demands of earning a living. Instead, you only need to focus on your diligent practice.

You must cultivate both merit and wisdom, accumulate virtues, and rediscover your true self. This is how you can save the world and liberate all beings. If you were to remain in the world, even if you were to visit a bodhimanda occasionally, after all the busyness of life, you would still be just another soul caught in the cycle of rebirth.
