This is a record of an interview with Lay Practitioner Li Suhua, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. She now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her life and her journey through the realms of suffering. Recorded by the chief writer, Fa Ning, on April 10, 2026.
Lay Practitioner Li Suhua speaks:
". I am Li Suhua, one of the beings guided by Practitioner Su to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss today. This world is so incredibly bright that my eyes widened in sheer amazement. Wow! It is even more luminous and pure than the ."
"I never expected such a profound elevation; at first, I was so stunned that I could not even speak. I had assumed the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss would not be much different from the Western -Nature Land, as both are lands established by the Buddha. But it turns out, the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is truly on another level. This is not me being competitive; it is simply the reality of the situation."
"Those residing in the Western Dharma-Nature Land are not yet guaranteed rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Everyone there is engaged in diligent practice and undergoing purification. If one is willing to chant 'Namo Amituofo' and truly seeks rebirth, then it is possible. However, some spirits may just sit there in the Western Dharma-Nature Land without truly making a vow to follow the Buddha. Such beings might still end up drifting back into the six realms of existence."
"I, Li Suhua, am deeply grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for giving us this opportunity. This is not an opportunity that just anyone can obtain simply by wanting it. I must have had a very deep karmic connection with the Buddha!"
"After suffering through extreme torture in hell for thirty years, I was guided by Practitioner Su to the Western Dharma-Nature Land. I am filled with gratitude and cherish everything I have received, as well as every change that has occurred. I am also incredibly grateful to my child in the human world. After all these years, you have encountered the Buddha’s teachings and remembered to arrange this Chao Du for me, allowing me to end my days of suffering in hell early."
"When I speak of being 'old,' I was not actually old when I died—I was just a woman in my early forties. But the impermanence of life led me to a fatal car accident, and I fell into a coma from which I never woke. While we call it impermanence, in truth, everything was already destined. I came into this life carrying ',' and because I did not refine my personality to transform that karma, it never left me. Furthermore, beings can manifest at any time to seek revenge because of one's own personality traits. This is something that happened to me in reality, yet it is also a very common occurrence. Everyone faces the possibility of being struck by such impermanence, just as I was."
"Now that I have left the human world for so many years and endured so much suffering in hell, I am much clearer-headed. I realise that one cannot live for oneself; one must think of others and completely let go of . How many people in this world can truly do that? My son, Ren Gang, arranged this deliverance for me, and my heart is full of gratitude. I sincerely wish for my son and all my family members: please, do not follow in my footsteps. Encountering the Buddha is your greatest stroke of luck; you must diligently follow the Buddha."
"If the Buddha says we can do something, we do it; if the Buddha tells us not to do something, we do not do it. Do not hold onto too many of your own opinions or ideas; only then can you make progress on the path of practice. If one always insists on their own interpretation of the Buddha’s words, then why bother practising at all? I am now a sincere resident of the Western Land. Although I had heard of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss before, only upon arriving here did I truly understand it all. All past joys, sorrows, and emotions have faded away. I no longer hold any traces of the past in my heart, nor do I dwell on previous events."
"Here, I see myself across many lifetimes, not just this one. My heart is now vast and clear; I know what I should do in the present, and I know what I should do for the long term. I am grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su. Once again, I say thank you for giving us this opportunity. Thank you all."
"Namo Amituofo."
